With classes that are fun, exciting and challenging, we empower our students to constantly seek higher levels of expectations and goals within themselves.

Handle life's challenges

At AKKA, we use Chinese Kenpo to cultivate traditional values such as honesty, courtesy, respect, discipline, courage and integrity.

With values such as these, we learn to handle life's challenges. Goal setting is a critical part of opening up your true potential, and AKKA's systematized curriculum and ranking helps reinforce the idea of success through structured commitment and discipline. Quitting is not an option.

For all ages

We start our 4-, 5-, 6- and 7-year-olds in our 'Kenpo Tiger' program to acclimate them to social structures and activities necessary for proper learning and training in and out of the karate school. Our 'Junior' programs are specially designed for our 8- to 11-year-olds.

This allows our younger students to cultivate themselves physically while learning to interact with others in a confident, fun and positive space.

While our 'Adult' program starts at the age of 12, we have many students who started with us in their 20's, 30's, 40's and up.

Our philosophy is, 'You're never too old to make yourself a better person'.

Many adults also find our cardio conditioning and combative training programs an additional complement to their traditional Kenpo training, all of which offer high quality and personalized training to suit anyone of any fitness level.

Birthday Parties

AKKA has AMAZING BIRTHDAY PARTIES. For $150, you get an hour of fun and games, plus snacks and prizes for up to 20 kids. Plus, you can leave the planning and cleaning to us! If you are interested in booking your child's party for 2012 please make sure to CLICK HERE!

Kenpo Tiger belt graduation

The younger kids will get their next belt in class on Friday, May 25. Parents, please note: this will be the kids' last class for May. We will not have Tigers classes the week of May 28-June 1.

Black Belt Pre-Test
9 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at St. Teresa's (5600 Main, by the Plaza). WE WILL NOT HAVE REGULAR CLASSES.

Memorial Day picnic
